June 15, 2005.
It has been six months or more since I've updated my web page - - the ORIGINAL BLOG if you will - and people
were complaining that I had put no new information on there.
A lot has happened over the past year. I'm in my third job in the past 13 months. I landed a
job in May of 2004 with a small firm called Event Ready in Rocklin, CA, then in November of 2004, I went to work for a Tier
2 distributor called Wintec Industries in Fremont, California. On the 1st of June of 2005, I started with a supply-chain
logistics firm entitled Integres Global Logistics - - where I am today, here in Rancho Cordova, CA.
Why have I come back to the Sacramento area? Because I met someone, fell in love, and am getting married.
He's a native to the area, and it has become easier for me to find a position up here, than it was for him to try and relocated
to the bay area. Moving his thousands of books alone would have been the biggest pain in the ass, ever! (Jennifer
Howlett - - there is some competition with books there madam!) ;-)
Anyway, as I said, I am getting married. His name is Timothy Boyle, "Tim," and our wedding date is
August 12, 2006. We were engaged back in February of 2005. After a few trials and tribulations, we made it through,
,and here we are now.
We have a large wedding coming up - - how can you not have all your girlfriends in it, and their children,
particularly when you're the last to get married. (I liked traveling too much, and apparently I enjoyed dating Mr. Wrong
all the time to avoid it!)
The wedding will be held in Lodi, CA at Wine and Roses Country Inn. My sister Kristine and her husband
Gene were married there in 2002. Uncle George Brenner, or I should say, Reverned George Brenner, is going to marry us,
which makes it even more special, since George is also my God-father and has known me all my life. (yes, that means he knows
I'm a bossy bit.) ha-ha.
Anyway, as things progress, I'll try to update this more often, and include photos. I'm at work, so
I don't have any with me. Hopefully I'll update it in the next day or so, since I owe Sven Thiele pictures from when
Litton Chen and I went to Germany for CeBit with Wintec.
